The Greensboro Area Health Education Center (GAHEC) is located at 200 E. Northwood Street in Suite 100 on the campus of The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, N.C. We are affiliated with the North Carolina Area Health Education Centers Program of The School of Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Our Mission:

The NC AHEC Program provides and supports educational activities and services with a focus on primary care in rural communities and those with less access to resources to recruit, train, and retain the workforce needed to create a healthy North Carolina. Greensboro AHEC (GAHEC) is one of nine centers in the NC AHEC Program and serves Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Guilford, Montgomery, Orange, Randolph and Rockingham counties.

  • Addressing the health care needs of underserved communities and populations
