50 Years of Excellence

In 2024, Piedmont AHEC recognizes 50 years of service to the health professionals, students, and communities of North Carolina and our eight-county Piedmont region.

We changed our name to Piedmont AHEC in early 2023 (formerly Greensboro AHEC), to better reflect the eight-county region we serve.

In 2014, we celebrated the 40th anniversary of our dedication to supporting lifelong learning with a timeline titled 40 Years of Greensboro AHEC: Celebrating Our Past — Building Our Future.
