AHEC Digital Library – Nursing
The AHEC
Digital Library offers access to lists of continuing education resources
particularly those offered by the North Carolina AHECs.
Some are online.
Choose the link, Continuing Education, found under the section,
Clinical Resources.
Database CEU
Click on a CE
Module for the list of available Modules. Each CE Module should be completed in
one sitting, since you cannot exit and return to the module.
The Modules are one to several hours in length.
There is no fee for these credits.
CINAHL offers a
quick way to identify CEU articles on specific subjects of interest.
Enter Ebsco’s CINAHL through the MCHS Medical Library Homepage; click on
CINAHL (Nursing). The link
will take you to the AHEC Digital Library; choose CINAHL.
Run a search in CINAHL for the subject of your choice; using the
LIMITS feature, limit your search to the Publication Type, CEU.

This site lists
web-based, narrated PowerPoint versions of the current live-event offerings.
Registration and purchase is required to access courses.
The ANA offers CE accredited by the ANCC.
Some courses are free CE for ANA Members. Online certificates are
instantly available upon completion.
