Certain services are
provided to GAHEC HEALTH PROFESSIONALS. These
professionals are defined as practicing health care professionals
who live and practice within the 9 county area of Greensboro
AHEC. Please see the LIBRARY SERVICES AND FEES Chart for specific fees and
eligibility for services. For more complete information about the
services and resources available to GAHEC Healthcare

each of the four Medical School Libraries, please click here.
Eligible HEALTH AGENCIES located within the
Greensboro AHEC may apply to become affiliated with the
MCHS/GAHEC Library, as LIBRARY CONTACT Agencies. For these
agencies additional services are available; definitions,
eligibility, agreements, rights and responsibilities are outlined
HERE. Any health care professional working
within these affiliated agencies is eligible for these library
services. The professional must, however, work with and through
the designated Library Contact person in their agency to access
certain services.
Health care PRECEPTORS working in the Greensboro
AHEC have access to selected services provided by the MCHS/GAHEC
Library. Please see the LIBRARY SERVICES AND FEES Chart for specific fees and
eligibility for services. Preceptors are generally affiliated
with participating NC colleges or universities and should also
work with their affiliated school for the provision of
information services. Duke, UNC-CH, ECU, and Wake Forest
affiliated preceptors are eligible for access to information
resources through the AHEC Digital Library. For information about

RESIDENTS, INTERNS, AND
MEDICAL STUDENTS affiliated with Moses Cone Health System
have access to many of the services provided by the MCHS/GAHEC
Library. Please see the Library Services and Fees
Chart for
specific fees and eligibility. For more complete information

DISTANCE
LEARNING STUDENTS and STUDENTS on
rotation from NC schools and not affiliated with the Moses Cone
Health System, should look first to their school for information
resources and Library support. Students from local
colleges, universities, or high schools should also look to their
school or the the public library for information support.

individual who is not a health care professional and is not
associated with the Moses Cone Health System is welcome to use
the Library and its resources during its HOURS of operation. Limited
assistance in finding material will be provided. For more
