The primary mission of the Greensboro AHEC Education Technology Services area is to advance the North Carolina AHEC program goals by promoting and supporting the integration of technology into the educational activities of AHEC staff, faculty, students, and the integration of local technology efforts into statewide AHEC Information Systems planning and implementation. 

As a forerunner in the development of Internet-based education, the ETS team continue to improve the AHEConnect Learning Management System with the ongoing goal of developing systems and protocols for delivering AHEC course content from an infrastructure that will enable healthcare providers to access courses at the time and location of their convenience. We also provide state-of-the-art digital multi-media services to be used in the educational product development and marketing of AHEC services to healthcare providers.
