Greensboro AHEC Continuing Dental Education Courses have met the criteria of the North Carolina Dental Hygiene Society for continuing education credit.

Greensboro AHEC requests continuing education credit from the Dental Assisting National Board for all programs relevant to Dental Assistants.  “DANB Approval” indicates that a continuing education course appears to meet certain specifications as described in the DANB Recertification Guidelines. DANB does not, however, endorse or recommend any participant continuing education course and is not responsible for the quality of any course content.

Greensboro AHEC also offers the only on-line course in Intraoral Radiography for the Office-Trained Dental Assistant and Coronal Polishing for the Dental Assistant II that meet the requirements set by the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners (NCSBDE) at www.aheconnect.com.

Greensboro AHEC works closely with the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry
